Empowering Humanity One by One, Inc.’s Micro Financing Program was launched in October of 2011. After a vigorous application process, ten Empowering Humanity One by One mother’s (mothers already participating in programs were selected.) In country staff completed full background reports on all of the applicants, taking into consideration work experience and ability to complete the tasks proposed in their applications.

Funds were dispersed as of October 15, 2011 from Empowering Humanity One by One Inc’s Micro Financing Account with ProCredit Bank in DRC. These no interest loans were dispersed to mothers and are being monitored carefully by their Business Mentors. Business Mentors are Empowering Humanity One by One, Inc in country staff who are monitoring, evaluating and assisting mothers with their business endeavors. Mentors report back to our board on a monthly basis in order to track progress of the program.
